Aim and Scope
Aims
The Journal of Tropical Crop Science (JTCS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the science and practice of crop production in tropical and subtropical regions. JTCS's primary goal is to publish high-quality research that addresses the unique biological, environmental, and management challenges of tropical crops. We aim to provide a global platform for scientists to share innovations that increase crop resilience, optimize nutrient efficiency, and promote sustainable food systems in the world's most biodiverse regions.
Scope
The journal invites original research, review articles, and short communications across a broad spectrum of crop science, including in vivo and in vitro crop production and management under tropical conditions, including crop breeding, nutrient management and soil health, seed technology, stress physiology, crop protection and biopesticides, and post-harvest technology of tropical cereals, vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, medicinal and plantation crops.
